height around 17 m

Here in Croatia you can find a large bamboo, but in the
northern Adriatic Sea , where the climate is warmer.

The diameter of the stems at 1.2 meters
from the ground 8 cm (3.15 inch) and 11.7 m hight (38.5 feet)

Beautiful plants!
Thickest bamboo I have seen in the "Giardini Botanici Handbury" near Ventimiglia.
The thickness of the base of a bottle of champagne.
From which region of Croatia are you?
Have you any palms?

I live in Zagreb, but all my plants are in parents garden, because I live in an apartment.
I do not have any palm, but many friends of mine have palms, mostly on Adriatic coast.

Not so height nor width.
It's third year from planting one plant. In few year we will se his full potentional.
